Louth 1-20 v 4-19 Donegal
Donegal continued their unbeaten streak in the Nicky Rackard Cup this afternoon with another dominant display in the group stage.
Having already secured a spot in the Final last week, this matchup against Louth on the surface was a dead rubber – but Mickey McCann’s men still delivered a storming performance away from home.
The first half was tightly contested, but Donegal held a slight lead of two points at the interval.
The floodgates would soon open however, as Donegal struck four second-half goals – a Ruari Campbell brace, as well as strikes from Peter Kelly and Ronan McDermott securing them their fifth win in five games.
They will now travel to Croke Park on the 1st of June to try and win the Nicky Rackard Cup crown.
